
























You measure your Fractional AE just like a full-time employee! They have clear metrics and targets to meet each month. Before they start, we create a Statement of Work that lays out exactly what’s expected so everyone starts off on the same page.
Results vary by customer and depends on the segment you are targeting
- If your sales cycle is less than 30 days: By Month 3 you can expect between 7-11 deals per month.
- If your sales cycle is between 30 and 60 days: By Month 3 you can expect between 3-6 deals per month.
- If your sales cycle is greater than 90 days: Month 3 onwards you can expect between 1-3 deals per month.
All Fractioanl sales talent goes through a 3-step screening process.
- Step 1: A potential AE applies or is referred to our network
-Step 2: If successful, they receive a case study and are expected to send us a 60-90 second pitch video, an email sequence and a LinkedIn sequence.
-Step 3: If succesful, they have a 30- to 5 minutes interview to further assess their background.
At this stage we add them to our network. In 2024, we accepted about 7% of all applicants to our network.
Yes! We recommend working with a Fractional AE for atleast 3 months but you can cancel anytime or request a swap. We want you to feel 100% confident in your Fractional AE.
Absolutely! All tools are provided by you which ensure that all data including prospect lists, email and LinkedIn templates, call scripts etc. belong to you. Additionally, any playbooks that have been built by your Fractional AE also belong to you.

On a daily basis, you or your team will manage the Fractional AE. Most of our clients meet with their Fractional AE either daily if they have a huddle or weekly on their 1 on 1. We recommend a fixed weekly meeting to review market needs, challenges, metrics etc. Activated Scale requests feedback bi-weekly and meets to review the performance metrics as stated in the SOW monthly.
