Requirements

This is a full-time contract role on a 1099 to start.

About our client:

Our client is a very well-known consumer education company launching a premium program for senior professionals. It runs in cohorts, carries a several thousand dollar price tag, and is aimed at people who are weighing it against far more expensive and time-consuming alternatives. Demand is already there. What they need now is someone to handle the conversations properly.

This role sits between admissions advising and sales. The people enquiring are senior, typically VPs, SVPs, founders and CEOs with fifteen or more years behind them. They ask sharp questions and they expect substantive answers, not a pitch. You will manage an inbound queue, take calls, explain what the program actually delivers, and carry people from first interest through to enrolment.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing the inbound inquiry queue across email and phone
  • Running roughly 20 to 30 conversations a day with prospective students
  • Explaining an AI-focused curriculum credibly to people who are senior, sceptical and busy
  • Following up with admitted candidates who have not yet enrolled, and closing that gap
  • Identifying strong candidates for sponsored tuition places within each cohort
  • Owning the relationship from first contact through completed enrolment

What we are looking for

  • A career SDR or admissions advisor with at least two years in the seat. This is not a first sales job.
  • Genuinely polished communication. You will be speaking to executives daily and representing a brand that cares deeply about how it shows up.
  • Real fluency and enthusiasm around AI. This is an AI program teaching AI, and you cannot fake interest in it for thirty calls a day.
  • Comfort with volume. High call counts, an inbox that fills up, and the discipline to work both without dropping people.
  • Belief in education as a product. The people who do well here care that the program is good, not just that the deal closed.
  • US-based, available full-time at 40 hours a week.

Compensation:

Base pay is $28 per hour. On top of that sits a variable pay component tied to enrolments, with total on-target earnings reaching up to $8,500 per month inclusive of base. The variable portion is substantial and it is where the upside lives.

Structure and process:

This starts as a 30-day engagement, structured as a trial for both sides. Strong performance leads to month-by-month extension, and there is a genuine path to a permanent role if the fit is right.
